- Learn about the mission, culture, and daily operations of Sight & Sound Ministries, Inc. and Sight & Sound Films.
- Support the Films Costume team in daily operations and assist with the construction and embellishment of costumes for films.
- Work under the direction of the Films Wardrobe supervisor/manager on specific projects that are intended to provide an educational experience as well a tangible benefit to the team.
- Assist in pulling, inventorying, maintenance, and transportation of costumes, as well as the maintenance and laundry of raw materials and costumes.
- Work with the wardrobe team in preparation for shoot days and help organize on set wardrobe needs as assigned by Wardrobe Supervisor.
- Shadow in other departments during the course of the internship.
- Must be well organized, a good communicator, and able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to learn new things with a respectful, open, and positive attitude.
- Demonstrated proficiency in machine and hand sewing.
- Able to run specialized machines such a grommeting devices, snap machines, and embroidery machines.
- Must have experience working as a dresser for college or regional theatre or film projects.
- Currently enrolled at an accredited undergraduate degree program in a conservatory, college, or university, studying Costume Design or Costume Technology.
- Ability to receive both affirming and constructive feedback.

The S&S Films Costumes Intern will support the Films Wardrobe team and Wardrobe Supervisor in the preparation and construction of costumes for Sight & Sound Films productions. As an intern at Sight & Sound, they will be given opportunities to apply classroom knowledge, deepen and expand their practical skills, participate in a wide variety of hands-on experiences through cross department shadowing, and participate in leadership development sessions. This is a full time, paid internship.
