      Summer Internship Program

      Position Summary

      Bob Moore is seeking highly motivated interns to join our team and gain hands-on experience in Operations (Sales & Service) Support/Administration/Accounting (Shared Services Center), Marketing, Human Resources and Organizational Development & Training departments. This internship will provide valuable opportunities for learning, growth, and professional development.

      ** To be considered for the summer internship program all applications must be received by May 5, 2024. **

      Core Responsibilities

      Responsibilities described in this section are fundamental to success in this position.

      • Assist with specific tasks or projects of the department.
      • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to the overall success of the department.
      • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure overall department or project objectives are met.
      • Enforce safety precautions specific to work area.
      • Other responsibilities as assigned.

      Minimum Qualifications

      The requirements listed below are the minimum degrees, certifications, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position.

      • Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in a relevant field of study.
      • Completed at least one year in an accredited program.
      • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
      • Able to work on average 25 per week from June through August.
      • Valid driver’s license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.

      • Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a wide range of individuals or independently.
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Strong PC skills and basic Microsoft office knowledge.

      Physical Requirements

      • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
      • The physical demands of the job include the use of hands and fingers, reaching, bending, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and driving.
      • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs or may frequently be exposed to neck flexion/extension, head/neck rotation, awkward shoulder/arm positions, and frequent and/or sustained awkward wrist positions. Access during repairs can place the body in awkward positions.
      • The employee is occasionally required to lift in excess of 50 lbs. with proper assistance.
      • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
      • Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol urinalysis and be able to drive a vehicle.

      Working Conditions

      • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
      • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
      • The employee may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and extreme heat.
