      HP's Global Print Strategy team works directly with HP’s C-suite, Print business executives to define, analyze, and shape strategic direction, and identify/build out new businesses that drive future revenue growth. We deliver analytically rigorous, pragmatic solutions to senior executives and work on high profile initiatives that help HP deliver game-changing results and above-market growth.

      The Print Strategy team is widely respected across HP and regarded as a seeding ground for top talent. We work as a 'meritocracy' that appeals to, and rewards, high achievers.       This opportunity is intended for conversion to a full-time role that will not offer work authorization sponsorship in the future (full-time conversion pending performance evaluation post internship and available headcount).       Responsibilities:

      Team Projects:

      • Strategic planning: Support the annual planning process and strategic analysis supporting annual and 3–5 year investment opportunities. Develop the long-range plan for HP
      • Corporate development: Support M&A transaction process, market due diligence and valuation, competitive analysis and strategies
      • Internal consulting: engage with business units across Print and PCs to refine existing strategies around P&L, business model, pricing
      • Greenfields/New Business: Work with Corporate Strategy team and HP Labs to help incubate new businesses, scale HP expansion of digital services for the hybrid world.


      Education and Experience Required:

      Qualifications

      • MBA in-progress, with 2025 graduation date
      • Preferably 2-5 years pre-MBA experience at a leading strategy consulting firm, in-house corporate strategy, banking or technology industry experience
      • Have strong finance/banking/consulting experience or strong functional expertise
      • Experience with M&A transactions, due diligence and conducting inorganic scans
      • Assimilate a large amount of data (both quantitative and qualitative) to generate meaningful insights
      • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to operate as a ‘start up’
      • Exceptional project management and presentation skills
      • Expertise in information technology industry and other sectors in which HP competes
      • Demonstrated ability to shape and influence ideas and actions of others
      • Demonstrated interest in HP and passion for technology through courses, work experience, attendance at HP and industry events


      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $25 -- $36 hourly . Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
