      Department Overview:

      The kids participate in swim team, softball, baseball, basketball, volleyball and horse camp. Most of the daily summer activities are already scheduled and the busiest times will be mornings. Afternoons are typically quieter and we can be pretty flexible on end times in the afternoon. I work a fairly predictable schedule Tuesday-Friday with patientso and occasionally things can come up that delay my end time. My husand works road construction in the summer and his schedule can be very unpredictable.

      Schedule:

      A typical work week will be off on Mondays, Tuesdays 7am-4:15pm, Wednesday 7am-3:30p, Thursday 7am-3pm, Fridays 7am-1:30pm. Ending time can be flexible on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Activities taper down at the end of July, we typically go on a family vacation in August and the girls head back to school August 20th.

      Salary/Wage Range:

      Hourly $22.00 to $22.00

      Position Summary/Job Duties:

      We are a busy and active family of 5 located in a great neighorhood in the town of Middleton. Our kids are 10(girl), 13(girl) and 16(boy). We also have 2 goldendoodles (one full size and one mini) who are like living teddy bears. We value a nanny who is reliable, patient, fun, creative, flexible, active, good with teens and tweens and is a safe driver. Someone who enjoys sports (playing and spectating) and crafts would be a bonus buy not necessary. The duties will include daily transporting of kids to and from camps/activities, spending time at the pool, planning daily activities as needed, assisting kids with homeworkas needed, light cooking and light housekeeping associated only with the kids and dogs.The 16 year old pretty much gets himself where he needs to go :-)

      We have memberships to Hawks Landing Pool and to Harbor Athletic Club and so will you for the summer. We love having a summer nanny! The kids enjoy having someone cooler than mom and dad to hang out with and we appreciate them having responsible and fun young adults in their lives. This position has the potentail to exist again in future summers and for dog/house sitting during the year if it's a good fit. You will have the Tuesday after memorial day off and the Thursday before the 4th with other days possible if needed. The kids' actvities typically come to an end around the end of July/early August. Hours for August can be very light if needed.

      Qualifications:

      A valid driver's license is needed with a safe driving record. Reliable transportation is also needed. The ideal candidate is patient, can relate and talk to tween/teens, has a positive attitude, is creative, leads an active lifestyle, has the ability to problem solve, is reliable and is a safe driver. Someone who enjoys sports would be a bonus, but not necessary. Able to transport kids to and from activities safely, help with homework, spend time at the pool, plan/coordinate daily activities, assist with homework as needed, light cooking, light house keeping and likes dogs.
