Maple Bluff family seeking nanny.

Monday- Friday: 8:30am-2:30pm

Time off around July 4th and option to work extra hours the first week of summer & the last week of summer as the kids camp start a week after summer and end a week before the school year starts.

We are looking for a summer nanny for our 7 year old daughter & 6th grade son. Responsibilities include navigating the kids to summer activities and creating an engaging and safe summer! All of the summer activities are in the neighborhood (including Swim lessons, tennis lessons, & camps). Our ideal candidate is responsible, loving, & fun! Standard hours would be:

Monday-Friday: 8:30am-2:30pm (July 4th time period off!)

In addition to standing working hours noted above there is always the option to add in additional hours to support Mom & Dad being cool and having a life on the weekends. There is also the opportunity to transition to school pick up nanny in the fall. A typical summer is spent doing all things Maple Bluff - lots of in-neighborhood activities at the country club (pool, tennis, camps, etc.), basically ideal summer for kids & nanny!.

Requirements: (1) Must have own reliable transportation & (2) must love engaging kids in fun activities (waterballoon fights, sprinkler, riding bikes, etc.)

About our family: We are a family of four (+ golden retriever, Leo) that live right outside of downtown Madison in the Maple Bluff neighborhood. We've had a several lovely UW students nannies for the last 7 years that has spoiled us and become part of our own family. Our children are very well behaved and they are used to their summer routines. We (parents) have flexiblity in our work schedules so if there are needs for time off as long as we have advanced communication it is easily accomplished (i.e. long weekends, early releases, out of town, etc.). I work in Fashion (Shopbop) & their Dad owns a printing company (Alphagraphics). Both kids love to play with their friends and roam the neighborhood all summer. Our son still loves anything legos & our daughter changes her mind so often we can't keep up with her loves! ;)

(Optional) Job Share with Friend/Roommate: We realize some college students have M/W/F or T/TH summer schedules so if you have a peer (friend, roommate, etc.) that you would like to split this job with we are definitely open to meeting both of you.

Start date is flexible, but ideally after Memorial Day weekend.
