    • Collect and manage hiring paperwork for new hires on-boarded into our ADP HR system.
    • Manage, track, and distribute teacher supply orders.
    • Assist Summer School Operations Manager in preparing orientation materials for Summer School Upper School and Investigative Learning Camp faculty orientations.
    • Assist with oce and classroom preparation at the beginning of the summer and with pack-up at the end of Summer School Programs.
    • Supervise laptop check-out and check-in process.
    • Supervise student lunch spaces and after-school study spaces.
    • Drive the mini-bus and chaperon eld trips, as needed.
    • Assist Summer School Operations Manager in posting to Summer School Programs social media accounts.
    • Assist Summer School Operations Manager with fielding parent, teacher, and student inquiries when they enter the Summer School Oce.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Summer School Operations Manager or Director of Summer School Programs.
    • Demonstrated cultural awareness, including knowledge of themselves and the cultural lenses they bring to interactions. The candidate will understand dierent perspectives; interact respectfully with cultures other than their own; and cultivate meaningful relationships with people that have different cultural frameworks.
    • A high-school degree, bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Facebook; ability to learn new software systems.
    • First Aid and CPR certification obtained before June 16.
    • Minibus certification by June 23 preferred (must be 25 years of age to complete our minibus certification process).
    • Candidates must satisfactorily complete two criminal background checks.

    • Lakeside School, an independent coeducational day school located in North Seattle, is currently recruiting for an Office Assistant for the Summer at Lakeside Office for summer 2025. The Oce Assistant works on campus June 16-August 4 (8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday).

      Responsibilities
      This position reports to the Director of Summer Programs and is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in providing administrative support for our summer programs.

      Requirements & Qualifications:
      Successful candidates must have

      Compensation
      The stipend for this position is $6,300. While working on campus, lunch is included. Summer at Lakeside also offers free Investigative Learning Camp enrollment for children (entering Gr.3-8) of summer employees during the weeks they are working. The Investigative Learning Camp runs July 7-Aug.1.
