- Accurately prepare samples of materials for sensory studies
- Run sensory panels by following instructions of other team members
- Maintain a well-organized lab and inventory
- Maintain and operate olfactometers and other instrumentation
- Assist with data analyses
- Assist with software programming of sensory tests

- Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Psychology, or related field and have completed at least two full years of graduate study prior to the start of the internship
- Strong interest in any of the following fields: sensory science, neuroscience, cognitive psychology, or related field. Previous lab experience highly desirable
- Keen eye for deail & organization - do you pay attention to the minute details of a project or task?
- Excellent communication & enthusiasm - do you have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely? Do you bring egenery to performing a task?
- Basic computer knowledge and high comfort level with learning new software
- Candidates must be available to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) for 12 weeks beginning on June 3, 2024 – August 23, 2024

Internships begin the first week of June through the third week of August.
