      Department Summary:

      • The Pharma Technical Summer Student Analyst is part of the Pharma Technical Operations team based in Mississauga (PT Mississauga) and will work closely with stakeholders across Pharma functions.

      This position offers early in undergraduate education students exposure to the core Technical Operations vital to manufacturing Roche medicines. The Pharma Technical Summer Student Analysts have a chance to experience Pharma Tech Operations, through engagement with process implementation; project management, and leveraging new technologies to drive business productivity and profitability.

      Pharma Technical Summer Student analysts experience working in various project assignments and rotations, gaining a broad perspective of the Pharma Technical operations process. Assignments and projects are available in all areas of Pharma Technical including and not limited to:

      • Global Supply Chain

      • Regulatory

      • Quality

      • Biologics Manufacturing

      • Strategy & Engineering

      • Technical Development

      • Technical Operations Procurement

      • All Roche employees are expected to effectively contribute to cross-functional collaboration and coordination and comply with all laws, regulations, policies & procedures that govern our business.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Participate in business initiatives, Pharma Technical x projects, process improvements, and support activities.

      • Under supervision, participate in system and process design and ensure that established goals and timelines are met.

      • Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to achieve results.

      • Build on your experience in hands-on Pharma Technical Operations project management, organizational skills, interacting with supporting specialists.

      • Practice self management, time management, and individual goal setting throughout the duration of project work. Work with Pharma Technical mentors to further develop career goals


      Who You Are:

      • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical, Biomedical, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Operations or related disciplines.

      • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills

      • Strong attention to detail including the ability to accomplish a task while demonstrating a thorough concern for all the areas involved

      • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a proactive, positive and constructive manner

      • Proven critical thinking and creativity skills; solve problems by applying technical and functional experiences

      • Highly motivated, self-driven individual with passion working within pharmaceutical industry
