Summer Skills Academy Secretary - Grades PK-4 (Temporary)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

1. Provide clerical support to Summer School Program
2. Create, maintain and file records
3. Provide assistance in entering data in eSIS and ELD Database
4. Communicate with program leads and staff
5. Serve as an interpreter and translator as needed
6. Communicate with parents and students
7. Maintain attendance records and call parents regarding attendance issues
8. Provide first aid to students and record medical information
9. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Read, write and speak fluently in English and Spanish
2. Skilled in use of computers, including word processing and spreadsheets
3. Effective communication skills
4. Operate office equipment
5. High School Diploma or equivalent
