What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Work directly with the Editorial Department team
- Research and write about elections and political information for the State of Texas and other southwestern states
- Navigate Ballotpedia's database and publish researched content
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge in the field
- Complete assigned writing and research tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong research and writing skills
- Proficiency with Google Applications
- Ability to work remotely with a reliable computer and internet access
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in coding, research, or writing
- Interest in American politics and elections
