      Position Summary:

      The Superintendent will supervise all subcontractors and work closely with the project manager on each job site. TYPICAL DUTIES: Supervises subcontractors and provides a liaison between the architects, engineers, owner's representatives, inspectors, and trades to ensure construction complies with drawling and specifications. Plans the work schedule, holds job site meetings, monitors manpower levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements. Oversees work performance and productivity of trades to ensure the schedule, project rules, procedures, safety requirements, and inspections are maintained. Advises the project manager of potential problems, scheduling difficulties, and circumventing/resolving such problems as required. Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction, and some limited hands-on labor duties may occasionally be required.

      Requirements:

      • Valid Driver's license is required.
      • Must pass criminal background check and Pre-employment drug screening.
      • Minimum 5 years commercial construction experience in a supervisory capacity required.
      • Previous renovation experience preferred.
      • Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, scheduling, safety regulations, architectural/structural drawings and other documents.
      • Basic computer skills required; construction software experience favored.
      • Ability to supervise and evaluate subcontractor performance is essential.
      • Must have a positive and cooperative attitude and excellent attendance.

      • Work is primarily performed both indoor and outdoor environments in all/extreme weather conditions.

      • Requires the ability to frequently lift and/or carry materials and/or supplies and other materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional lifting and/or carrying of materials and/or supplies weighing up to 100 lbs.
