      Responsibilities

      • Oversees field personnel, daily/weekly schedules, and construction operations.

      • Schedules all earthwork, roadwork, or other self-performed work and coordinates field crews through directives given to foremen.

      • Collaborates with other Superintendents and subcontractors.

      • Closely monitors communicates risks, status etc. in project review meetings.

      • Assist Engineers with quantities and productions.

      • Establishes and promotes a safety culture.

      • Ensures labor, equipment and materials are maintained, protected, secured and used at optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness.

      • Coaches and provides on-the-job training to crews.

      • Manages employees by mentoring, coaching, providing feedback and assessing performance.

      • Evaluates employee's performance.

      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Requirements

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • 5 years of experience
      • Heavy civil construction experience required
      • HCSS experience preferred
