      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage accounting functions including financial statement preparation and budget variance analysis
      - Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare audit work papers for regulatory filings
      - Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting principles in a fast-paced environment
      - Collaborate with all levels of management to prioritize and manage workflow effectively
      - Supervise and lead a team, providing guidance and oversight on accounting operations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
      - Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
      - Experience with client-server based financial systems required; GEAC experience preferred
      - Proficiency in accounts receivable, payroll, and accounts payable systems required
      - CPA certification preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master's degree in Business Administration preferred
      - Public accounting experience preferred
      - Familiarity with computerized accounting systems and internal controls
      - Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across management levels
      - Experience in a healthcare-related accounting environment
