      Overview

      We are seeking a highly motivated full-time supervisor at our Hill Ave location. In this role, the individual will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and managing the day-to-day operations of baling and/or aluminum separation systems while ensuring the safety and quality of the product. This position requires, at times, operating equipment as needed (skid steers, forklifts, etc.).

      Responsibilities

      • Work with maintenance personnel to test, report, adjust, and modify the systems as needed.
      • Solve day-to-day production and process challenges.
      • Make recommendations to improve the system interface.
      • Coordinate material location and storage.
      • Ensure compliance in safety, environment, and personnel issues that may arise.
      • Manage inventory on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
      • Achieve established goals for labor, uptime, quality, and safety.
      • Ensure the product is consistent with customer specifications.
      • Confirm quality and recovery. Maintain accurate inventory.
      • Ability to work with and understand margin reports.
      • All other tasks as assigned.

      Qualifications

      • Ability to use logic to identify , diagnose, and problem solve.
      • Understanding of basic technology terms with the ability to understand some engineering lingo
      • Safety mindset and keen observation skills
      • Critical thinking
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Working knowledge of Ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
      • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train and motivate others.
      • Understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
      • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
      • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more as required.
      • Knowledge of Environmental best management practices.
      • Experience in an industrial setting preferred.
      • Associates in a technical or technology discipline preferred.
