      Key Responsibilities

      • Ensures proper staffing is scheduled for Office Staff.
      • Perform general office duties inclusive of, but not limited to filing, answering telephone(s), mail distribution and composing correspondence
      • Involved in the interviewing process, conduct performance evaluations, issue disciplinary actions and work with General Manager on final decisions in these areas.
      • Keep track of attendance records, monitor lateness/absence/manual miss punches, etc.
      • Ensures proper documentation is prepared by staff in order to maintain compliance with the particular airline guidelines, FAA, DOT and other regulatory agencies.
      • Interact with authorities, TSA, CBP, Agriculture agents.
      • Provide excellent customer service to all customers at the counter and over the phone
      • Resolves employees concerns and submits to manager for action.
      • Monitor station supply levels and order as necessary.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      • One year college certificate or technical school, six months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Must be able to pass a ten-year background check as required by US Customs.
      • Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
      • Aviation Industry experiences a plus.
      • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English proficiently.
      • Valid driver’s license with good driving records
      • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
      • Work is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
      • Must pass an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal.
      • Must pass driver’s test with the Department of Airports and obtain a driver’s license to drive on Airport Operational Area (AOA).
      • Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing, including drug testing and ten-year background check as required by US Customs.

The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, high voltages, and high hydraulic/pneumatic pressures. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places.
