      Job Summary

      Responsible for the supervision of security guards. Protects the organization's employees, properties and all items of value on premises from any preventable harm or danger.

      Job Description

      Core Responsibilities

      • Oversee all work of building security staff on assigned shift.
      • Responsible for the security of the complex building and grounds.
      • Responsible for the fire alarm system for the building.
      • Responsible for the building’s chiller alarm system.
      • Direct visitors and vendors and ensure temporary building passes are issued and log in book is signed.
      • Check all bags for contraband and tag all bags entering the building.
      • Coordinate all building tours in the complex.
      • Maintain daily incident log and complete reports on crimes and accidents.
      • Maintain key log records.
      • Coordinate all event move-ins.
      • Monitor all cameras throughout complex.
      • Monitor all access control systems in complex.
      • Assists the Security Manager and Director with special projects.
      • Works flexible hours and is available on call 24/7 as situations warrant.
      • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
      • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. This includes all shifts--7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am.
      • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

      Bachelor's Degree
