- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe Manager Food Protection Certification
- Three years’ experience in food services, one of which with leadership responsibilities
- Able to speak, read and write English
- Customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Complex problem solving, team development, strategic planning and systems planning/development
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Knowlege of Food and Nutrition
- Supervisor experience
- Dietary Services or Certified Dietary Manager Certification
This is a full-time, salaried, leadership position located at our Scripps Dietary Call Center in 4S Ranch in the Rancho Bernardo area. Must be available to work an evening shift of 11:00am-7:30pm and varied schedule including weekends.

The Supervisor of the Dietary Call Center will provide leadership to the Diet Clerk team. The Diet Clerk responsibilities include processing diet orders, assisting patients with menu selections, and distinguishing between food and medication allergies, maintaining current diet orders and menus to ensure compliance to the physician diet order. Diet Clerks must be able to function effectively in a high-volume call center environment. The Supervisor will partner with all of the Food Service departments across all Scripps sites.
