Job Description/Summary:Reporting to the Manager of Hospitality Services, the Supervisor of Hospitality Services will provide supervisory leadership to the Hospitality Services Division in order to maintain a safe, sanitary, attractive and orderly environment.Position RequirementsMinimum Education: Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalentMinimum Experience: Previous expertise in an environmental services or related department with at least 3 years of experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language and possess good communication skills. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.Technical Knowledge: Ensure that all personnel wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies (e.g., back brace, mechanical lifts, etc.) when lifting or moving heavy objects. Ensure that supplies, equipment, etc., are maintained to provide a safe and comfortable environment. Ensure that personnel follow established cleaning procedures. Ensure that appropriate medical waste is disposed of in accordance with our facility's established procedures.\Physical Requirements:Sit: Up to 6 hours/dayStand/Walk: 3-6 hoursBend/Stoop: Up to 3 hoursReach: Up to 3 hoursRep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 8 hoursLift/Push/Pull: 26-50 poundsThis job requires the ability to hear alarms, clients and/or instruction. The ability to see accurately from 20 inches to 20 feet.
