- Champion the department’s vision by supervising staff, guiding training, and ensuring a high standard of service.
- Collaborate with the shift manager to coordinate daily operations, balancing assignments and adapting to special requests.
- Recruit, onboard, and evaluate team members, providing regular feedback and timely performance reviews.
- Enforce compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements through daily inspections and prompt issue resolution.
- Identify and implement process improvements, documenting outcomes and supporting performance initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of staff competencies, address performance issues, and encourage ongoing professional development.
- 3+ years of Environmental Services or related experience preferred.
- Strong decision-maker who keeps the team moving forward.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Compassionate and resilient in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of Environmental Services procedures, supplies, and equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Collaborative team player with a flexible approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Location: 1275 York Ave Main Campus
- Schedule:Overnight Shift Monday – Friday, 10pm to 6am. Weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay Range

Job Description
Memorial Sloan Kettering is seeking a Supervisor of Environmental Services for our Main Campus location.
The Environmental Services team plays a significant role in providing exceptional service by ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Service is at the heart of everything we do at MSK and we pride ourselves on the fact that each of our employees delivers first-class service to our patients.
We are looking for an engaged leader who will help lead the administrative, operational, and technical activities of the Environmental Services Department to maintain the cleanliness of a high-volume facility and ensure efficiency and quality service.
