      Job Description

      Supervises and evaluates vendors, construction, installations, repairs and maintenance of all facility structures, systems and equipment. Serves as the immediate point-of-contact for Facilities in the absence of the leadership.

      Job Responsibility

      • Promotes Facilities Management department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.
      • Leads the activities of assigned Facilities Management team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.
      • Supervises day-to-day operations of the department.
      • Plans and manages the requested, corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance and repair of the buildings and structural facilities.
      • Plans, organizes, and supervises the work of the facilities maintenance crews.
      • Monitors their productivity and quality of work.
      • Instructs, trains, counsels, and disciplines personnel in proper performance of their duties.
      • Ensures regulations are followed in all aspects of assigned tasks.
      • Ensures all documentation of facilities preventive maintenance systems are up to date and orderly.
      • Oversees and manages compliance of plans.
      • Ensures timely purchase and security of materials, equipment, and supplies.
      • Conducts and attends department staff meetings.

      Job Qualification

      • Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
      • 4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
