      Responsibilities

      Supervise and coordinate daily operations of general maintenance mechanics and trades people on assigned shift, relative to corrective, emergency, and preventive maintenance projects.

      • Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
      • Supervise, assign jobs, and ensure timely completion of projects by maintenance mechanics.
      • Perform routine field inspections on-site and at off-site locations.
      • Prepare technical reports and maintains logbooks as required.
      • Maintain and apply knowledge of applicable fire, health, safety and environmental standards, as well as relevant state, local, and national codes.
      • React in a timely manner to emergency situations.
      • Coordinate maintenance and modification projects with appropriate department to ensure minimal guest interruption.
      • To oversee the supervision of maintenance and repair at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino facilities and equipment.
      • Instruct and train others as appropriate.
      • Adhere to all Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Policies and Procedures.
      • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
      • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned, related and non-related.
      • Promote positive employer/public relations at all times. Interact with internal departments as appropriate.

      Qualifications

      To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

      • Respond to service calls in efficient manner. Well-organized with the ability to prioritize in response to changing circumstances and function in a fast-paced environment.
      • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
      • High school diploma, trade school certificate preferred.
      • One (1) to three (3) years experience in commercial / industrial facilities maintenance preferred.
      • One (1) to three (3) years experience in a casino environment.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

      Prolonged period of walking, reaching, climbing and moving/carrying weight of up to 100 lbs.
