Your Role As a Supervisor in a Neiman Marcus fulfillment center, you will report to an Operations Manager while directing department lead(s), and a team of 30 to 40 hourly associates. You will lead by example and influence your team to do the fast-paced work required to run the department as efficiently, safely, and productively as possible. You will be responsible for developing and implementing team goals along with developing/coaching, discipline, and termination of hourly associates. What You’ll Do - Maintain daily productivity, metric goals, and monitor attendance of the department. - Coach, motivate, and counsel associates as needed. - Provide training and information to improve accuracy and efficiency. - Be proactive in cross-training and keep detailed records of the skill set of each associate. - Ability to multi-task and have strong communication and organizational skills. - Plan daily workflow, assignments, and priorities. - Work with other departments to coordinate flow through the facility to meet distribution goals. - Maintain communication with the manager regarding all department activities and issues. - Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and a culture of safety is present in the work area. - Ensure all administrative tasks are completed as assigned. - Creating, managing, and supporting recognition and communication programs.
