Position Description
Pay: $55,000 depending on experience

Work Schedule: 5 days a week, Mon-Fri every other Saturday, as needed.
Full Time employees supporting contracts for the Federal government that are covered by the Service Contract Act (SCA) earn fringe benefits according their Wage Determination. OBJECTIVE:
To supervise and assist in the daily laundry production by leading and training laundry workers in all aspects of laundry production.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; 2 – 4 years laundry experience. Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
• Assist Supervisor III to ensure necessary laundry duties are assigned each shift
• Assist Supervisor III to provide guidance to assigned laundry workers throughout the facility including the sort room wash room, folding area and order filling.
• Assist Supervisor III to coordinate personnel requirements to fulfill orders, effectively utilize personnel for most efficient use of time and productivity, and train all general laundry and washroom workers on the proper laundry techniques.
• Assist Supervisor III to manage the flow of laundry throughout the laundry facility, oversee quality of all phases of laundry operations and coordinate with the sort, wash/dryer and folding rooms for linen orders to be filled.
• Assist Supervisor III to expedite order filling and coordinate with drivers for delivery of clean linens.
• Make recommendations to the Laundry Manager of appropriate PAR levels of linen to fulfill customer requirements and orders, ensure proper weighing of carts for deliveries are recorded for proper billing and coordinate with Maintenance Engineer any repairs needed on equipment.
• Responsible for the payroll, time keeping, scheduling, hiring, performance management, employee goal setting and recommendations toward termination related to the employees of specific departments and will assist Supervisor III when needed for other departments.
• Maintain open communication at all times in relationship with other supervisors, work leaders and Project/Laundry Manager, accepting other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
