      Job Description

      At CoBank, the Supervisor, Association Servicing leads a team responsible for end-to-end portfolio management activities for association related services and transactions. The Supervisor is the escalation point for Loan Operations with both in and out of district associations by providing specialized operational and customer support for our Farm Credit Partners, and other internal Business Partners including Operations, Farm Credit Banking Group (FCBG), Credit, Treasury, Cash Management Services, and Farm Credit Leasing (FCL). The Supervisor provides leadership to the team fostering a collaborative environment, engaging stakeholders and their team to facilitate continuous improvement by leveraging principles of Operational Excellence. The Supervisor is responsible for the accuracy and effective execution of servicing activities performed by their team ensuring compliance to CoBank's policies and procedures, designed to provide outstanding customer service and maintain the soundness of CoBank's financial statements.

      Essential Functions

      1. Manage workflow and balance team workload to ensure assigned activity is processed within the expected time frames and Service Level Agreements, meeting or exceeding client expectations.

      2. Maintain a sound operating environment ensuring transactions are processed accurately, are properly documented and approved in accordance to documented policies and procedures.

      3. Provide guidance and direction to the team utilizing in-depth knowledge of CoBank processes, loan operations principles, and association servicing support.

      4. Provide subject matter expertise in onboarding, servicing, and management of In-District Association Direct Notes and Out-of-District Settlement Lines for wholesale, syndicated, lease, and cash management products with an in depth understands of ACBS, CoReports, and Treasury Connect system logic, how we use the system, how the system should be used, and what is commercial or industry standard for Farm Credit Associations.

      5. Coordinate and/or provide training for the Association Servicing Team, and Loan Operations department as a whole when needed.

      6. Supervise staff: set and communicate performance standards, monitor performance and provide ongoing communication and coaching and recommend personnel appropriate actions.

      7. Monitor and report activity volume, performance metrics, Service Level Agreements and key performance indicators; correct problems, identify trends and recommend and present opportunities for improvement.

      8. Proactively identifies continuous improvement opportunities to implement process and system enhancements. Participates in requirements gathering, defines user stories, performs user acceptance testing, updates procedures to support change and support leadership in change management activities.

      9. Serve as “Mission Critical Personnel” for business continuity and reduced staffing scenarios.

      Education

      - High school diploma or GED required

      -Bachelor Degree Business Admin or relevant discipline preferred

      Work Experience

      5 years of relevant experience in Loan Operations and/or Association Servicing Support

      3 years of relevant experience in general commercial loan servicing practices

      Prior Experience with the Farm Credit System

      1. Knowledge of personal computers and software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets, ACBS, Settlement Engine, CoReports, and Treasury Connect.

      2. Excellent customer service and strong oral and written communication skills required.

      3. In-depth knowledge of Association Direct Note configuration and reconciliation.

      Physical Exertion Details

      The typical base pay range for this role is between $86,961.00 - $120,919.00. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
