Supervisor, Marketing Science As a Supervisor on our Marketing Science team, you will lead a team of analysts to on a high-profile client team. You will work closely with the marketing science directors to manage resources, implement process improvements, and provide mentorship within a tight-knit account team consisting of analysts, media planners, and strategists as they work cross-functionally to analyze data and deliver valuable and relevant insights. Through data-driven insights, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our client’s marketing strategy. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in a quantitative, data-driven field A passion for digital marketing, research, and analytics Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical ideas to multiple audiences both verbally and in writing Comprehensive knowledge of ad technologies and research techniques Ability to move beyond descriptive analytics and employ more sophisticated techniques (predictive and prescriptive analytics) Experience/familiarity with Alteryx, Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau or other analytical software packages Experience/familiarity with ad-serving and web analytics tools Google DFA, Atlas, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc. Experience/familiarity with syndicated research sources/tools Gfk, MRI, Simmons, Scarborough, IMS, Nielsen, and comScore Experience/familiarity with digital ad effectiveness research Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Responsibilities Client Management Working closely with directors and Strategy team to help drive overall strategy and associated tactics to meet client’s goals Working closely with the media and investment teams as well as external partners to facilitate and deliver succinct and clear information to the clients Acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day clients, delivering timely and detailed responses Receiving and prioritizing deliverables, as well as ad hoc requests to ensure they are executed on time and to client expectations Effectively presenting recommendations and ideas as well as merchandising successes through storytelling Bringing new proactive ideas to help meet client goals and grow business Anticipating client’s needs and proactively design solutions to address them Team Management Effectively manage, train, and develop team of analysts Supporting directors with day-to-day requests as well as ongoing deliverables by disseminating and delegating appropriately across the team Educating team on latest trends, best practices, technologies, etc. Demonstrating appropriate judgment through proper escalation and strong problem-solving skills Establishing yourself as an expert within the Marketing Science discipline amongst the team and extended partners Identifying and propose ways to improve team efficiency and effectiveness Marketing Science/Analytics Displaying deep-rooted understanding of business concepts and client objectives to identify campaign opportunities Fostering understanding of how to plan, optimize and implement measurement plans and learning agenda Demonstrating understanding of third-party tracking platforms and their respective integrations in measurement and attribution Developing and activating outcomes of data-informed strategy and research Analyzing data, extracting knowledge, and storytelling with visual aids to multiple audiences (internal and external), to extract and present the latest and greatest opportunities to move the business forward Effectively presenting data-informed strategic and tactical plans to internal and external teams Knowledge of multiple platform data sources including but not limited to Kenshoo, Facebook Business Manager, Atlas, DCM, etc., to analyze and present data Continually looking for opportunities to optimize the media mix and tactics based on data trends Compensation Range: $50,000 - $95,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
