Job Description

- Drive a culture of safe work, ensuring proper safety practices and methods are in place and verifying that they are being followed.
- Investigate material non-conformances utilizing root cause analysis techniques and implement corrective actions to prevent future failures.
- Be proactive in identifying potential production or quality failures and work with the appropriate resources to resolve.
- Set productivity goals for each team member.
- Evaluate and report out Dispatch and staffing to ensure continued production, minimal downtime and on time delivery of kits to meet company objectives to include kitting and working in Stores to support as needed.
- Monitoring and reporting out on cycle count discrepancies, including inventory variance, and scrap.
- Develops, trains, and motivates team members to report, maintain, and act on appropriate measures while maximizing team resources.
- Management on the coordination of customer orders to meet deliveries
- Maintain department metrics to track flow and inventory levels
- Control inventory levels for warehousing / manage safety stock program
- Manage site Inventory Attack Team
- Analyze lot sizing, manufacturing lead times, and safety stocks to determine product flow
- Prepare and manage reports on inventory, material usage and efficiency
- High School Diploma
- 5 years. prior shipping and receiving experience.
- Experience with MRP systems.
- A basic knowledge of military and commercial aerospace specifications and standards preferred.
- Strong business acumen coupled with mental aptitude and motivation to learn new functions and expand areas of expertise.
- Strong knowledge of Lean practices including VMI and Kanban inventory programs.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to embrace and implement new and varied material management approaches.

Based in Park City, UT, Triumph Geared Solutions is a leading independent aerospace gear and gear box supplier for the commercial and military helicopter and business jet markets and employs approximately 200 employees. The Company’s key products and services include power transmission systems, integrated gearbox design and builds, airframe mounted accessor drives (AMAD’s), engine mounted accessory drives (EMAD’s), rotorcraft transmissions, turboshaft internal gearboxes, emergency power gearboxes, and large complex aero gears for both OE and aftermarket/spares end markets.
Park City, UT lies east of Salt Lake City in the western state of Utah. Framed by the craggy Wasatch Range, it’s bordered by the Deer Valley Resort and the huge Park City Mountain Resort, both known for their ski slopes.
