      Location/Division Specific Information
      Fremont, CA/Clinical Diagnostics Division
      Discover Impactful Work:
      This position will report to the Sr Manager, Operations and is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the particles team and resources to safely, efficiently, and effectively achieve the production schedules. This is a hands-on role with the supervisor participating in production and completing work orders while supervising direct reports.
      Key responsibilities:
      • Responsible for meeting the operations financial targets, key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks including productivity, operating income, revenue, margins, inventory, and growth
      • Ensure production completion on time and compliance with standards
      • Supervise a team of 4-5 to achieve delivery, safety, quality, and cost targets
      • Support operational goals and continuous improvement
      • Conduct reviews to address performance issues
      • Encourage employee input and accountability
      • Monitor and improve manufacturing and quality activities
      • Collaborate with teams and supply chain for materials
      • Review and release batch records
      • Train and mentor staff
      • Evaluate nonconformance, OOS, SCAR, and CAPA and approve document changes
      • Manage orders and inventory via ERP requirements
      • Perform additional tasks as needed
      Keys to Success:
      Education
      • Preferred: B.S. Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related field
      Experience
      • 4-5 years of relevant industry experience
      • Preferred experience managing and developing staff in manufacturing or distribution
      • Familiarity with handling hazardous chemicals and adhering to quality and regulatory standards
      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
      • Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 compliance
      • Proven ability to achieve results, communicate effectively, and make sound decisions in uncertain conditions
      Physical Requirements / Work Environment
      The physical work requirements typically include a combination of office and labwork. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

      Compensation and Benefits

      The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $91,000.00–$121,200.00.

      This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
