      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Supervise and coordinate activities related to patient registration and scheduling
      - Ensure timely verification, notification, and pre-certification to minimize payment denials
      - Provide daily supervision to staff, ensuring excellent service to patients and visitors
      - Maintain compliance with departmental policies and assist in their development and upkeep
      - Monitor daily operations and manage staffing schedules for efficient departmental coverage

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school graduate or equivalent
      - Minimum of two years of patient financial services, patient access, or registration experience
      - Must obtain HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) Certification within one year of hire
      - Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
      - Basic knowledge of medical terminology and business math

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate’s Degree, BA, or BS in a relevant field
      - Two years of experience in a healthcare setting
      - Supervisory experience in a related role
      - Knowledge of third-party payors and managed care requirements
      - Familiarity with ICD-9 and CPT coding
