      The Role: Supervisor of Patient Transport/Concierge Team

      The Supervisor of Patient Transport/Concierge Team supervises daily staff activities for an assigned area or function within patient & guest services, and patient transport teams.

      The Opportunity:

      MaineGeneral Health is currently seeking an exceptional Supervisor of Patient Transport/Concierge Team to join our team. MaineGeneral is a leading health care system that is proud of the culture of excellence, compassion and collaboration that extends to our patients and their families.

      The Work:

      • Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
      • Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
      • Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
      • Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

      You Have:

      • Previous customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
      • Ability to work well with others.
      • Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
      • Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
