What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and supervise the collections team to meet productivity and quality standards
- Assist in training and coaching team members on collection processes
- Research payer policies and reimbursement history to effectively manage claim denials
- Develop and deliver detailed reports to management regarding payer issues and denial management
- Manage write-offs or adjustments on accounts and process refund requests from payers

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in Accounts Receivables
- Strong knowledge of CPT codes, medical terminology, insurance plans, and ICD-10 codes
- Experience with Practice Management systems; Xifin experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in writing appeals

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory, especially in genetic billing
- High school diploma plus some college preferred
