  Provides direction for the quality management department through strategic planning for the areas of performance improvement, patient advocacy, patient safety, infection prevention, and problem resolution. Establishes, monitors, and maintains quality of care and services including compliance with government, intermediary, and regulatory requirements. Provides for the design implementation and administration of surveillance and patient care case review for the Quality division, Medical staff and as requested by ongoing performance improvement activity.

  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing; BSN required, MSN preferred
  • Current licensure in the State of Missouri as a Registered Nurse or ability to obtain licensure required
  • Ten years of clinical related experience preferred
  • Previous experience in Quality Management and Risk Management preferred
  • Familiarization in Health Information Services
  • Knowledge of all aspects of Accreditation Standards (TJC, CMS) and State hospital licensure requirements
  • Capable in Excel, Word, and system electronic medical record to a user level
  • The ability to create changed processes through influence and the appropriate use of Contemporary Management skills
  • Certification in Quality, Process Improvement, and/or accrediting body preferred
