We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused Supervisor to oversee our Settlement and Collections teams, currently comprising five professionals located in Alberta and Ontario. This role is ideal for a strong leader who excels in team development, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. While deep technical expertise is not a prerequisite, the ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in people leadership, accounting, and operational efficiency, with the ability to quickly learn and apply functional knowledge as needed. More specifically, you will be required to:

      • Lead and support a geographically distributed team of 5 across Settlement and Collections, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture

      • Oversee daily operations of the Settlement function, including month-end reconciliations and financial reporting accuracy

      • Manage the Collections operations, ensuring timely follow-up on delinquencies and effective recovery strategies

      • Collaborate closely with a third-party collections agency to drive performance and maintain service quality

      • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort

      • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to settlements, collections, and recoveries

      • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members, promoting continuous growth

      • Champion team-building initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable work environment

      What you bring to the table

      • Bachelor's degree in a related field

      • A minimum of five years of relevant experience

      • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

      • Experience with reconciliation, collections, or financial operations

      • Experience managing remote or hybrid teams

      • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

      • Expert proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

      • Advanced intermediate knowledge of Excel and other MS Tools
