Coordinate the organization of work within the department by attending daily performance meetings, analyzing of daily department results, collaborating with other departments to resolve issues, correspond with internal and external customers as needed, manage scheduling of personnel to meet demand. Establish and maintain relationships with logistics vendors. Activities are focused on mid to longer term planning needs to the success of the department. (50%)Manage staffing and development of employees within the department by participating in interviewing & hiring activities, training, and coaching of employees.
