Job Description

- Reinforce to staff the importance of providing positive customer service.
- Assist in scheduling staff, payroll, inventory management, performance management.
- Follow up with staff to ensure assigned primary and secondary duties are completed.
- Help to ensure that the store serves safe food to its customers.
- Perform operations duties of store manager when absent.
- Assist with recruitment of new staff
- Assist with the store’s training program
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Completion of AFTIMS training required (can be completed in-house)
- Minimum of 1-3 years previous customer service experience required
- Previous food service management experience an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Tim Horton’s products and procedures.
- Exceptional integrity and trust required.
- Proven action and results oriented along with strong problem-solving skills required.
- Proven team building skills.
- Possessing strong functional/technical skills.
- Excellent communication skills required (written, verbal, composure).
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills required (motivating, delegation, conflict management, respect for others, listening).
- Demonstrated organization and time management skills required.
- Competencies in other languages considered an asset.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Tim Horton’s, the Shift Supervisor assists the store manager in ensuring that the store meets the Tim Horton’s standards in regards to operational execution and achieving financial results. They accomplish this through building effective teams through directing, delegating, and providing feedback to the management team and staff. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Hours of Work
37.5 hours every two weeks plus relief shifts. Various shifts range from 3.0 to 11.25 hours; Monday to Sunday, weekends, holidays; Mainly 4:00am -12:00am hours of operation. (Day shifts and evening shifts are required). Must work every second weekend.
