A valid Texas Driver's License and an acceptable driving record, forklift certification required and may be obtained on the job.

REQUIRED:
SUMMARY:
Supervises and coordinates activities of warehouse workers concerned with receiving, tagging, storing, inventorying, and delivering supplies, materials, textbooks and fixed assets, and assists in the installation and setup of new campuses and classroom additions by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Plans layout of warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, related factors of items stored.
Reads production schedule, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies. Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
Issues written and oral instructions. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures. Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
Addresses employee concerns and resolves grievances. Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.
Adjusts errors and complaints. Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties. Maintains confidentiality. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior as is expected of all District employees.
Maintains professional growth by attending in-service and meetings as requested/required.
Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Director.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
