      Job Description:

      JOB SUMMARY:

      The Field Supply Chain Supervisor will supervise supply chain personnel in tasks associated with technician fulfillment, material storage, order picking, inventory management, and the shipping and receiving of CPE and materials including cross-dock operations. Responsible for supervising and maintaining secure inventory storage and control of CPE and materials into/out of the local facilities. Qualified candidates must be able to ensure effectiveness of internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvement.

      PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      Oversee cross-dock operations to efficiently route material and CPE from Primary Distribution Centers (PDCs) to technician fulfillment locations. Oversee inventory / asset transactions as necessary to ensure accurate local inventory measurement. Ensure material and CPE are appropriately allocated across all local fulfillment and retail locations. Address fulfillment issues elevated by supply chain personnel for resolution. Oversee technician fulfillment operations (TFC stocking, tackle box refills, etc.) as necessary and recommend process improvements. Maintain accurate record keeping systems; oversee the preparation and maintenance of information and correspondence. Oversee the processing of inbound receipts, picking and staging materials, preparing inventory for shipments, and ensuring perpetual records are updated and backup documentation is available for audit purposes. Supervise warehouse personnel and oversee resources and processes related to workflow, training, safety, and quality assurance including performance management. Supervise and assist in maintaining inventory in a safe and secure warehouse. Ensure organization acceptance and collaboration with the supply chain fulfillment process. Ensure the integration of the supply chain fulfillment function into the overall business planning and monitoring process. Manage the Fulfillment team members, including setting group and employee goals, providing formal and informal feedback, and coaching direct reports towards high performance.

They should also use logic and reporting to make inferences about the data by applying graphs, flow charts, diagrams, and other data modeling tools where necessary.

      QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

      Minimum

      • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field (Supply Chain Operations). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience in a related field; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience
      • Requires strong knowledge of Warehouse Operations and Logistics
      • Excellent analytical and communication skills that allow you to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.

      Preferred

      • 3+ years of previous work experience in Supply Chain or Operations related field.
      • 3+ years of previous Management or Leadership experience.
      • 3+ years of information analysis, process development, and executive reporting experience.
      • Prior Warehouse Operations, Logistics, and Inventory Management desired
      • Communications industry background (highly desirable)
      • Advanced experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
      • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, network, collaborate, and accomplish goals through others in a diverse employee population.
      • Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with specific expertise in management reporting and executive writing skills.
