- Provide patient appointment scheduling services to all primary and specialty clinics across Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and indirect clinic medical support assistant operators.
- Provide appointment reports and statistics to appropriate personnel.
- Establish and set section priorities and prepares schedules to accommodate changes in deadlines and to provide for unexpected suspense requirements.
- Develop and maintain a variety of data capture and assessment tools and systems.
- Share, advise on and/or coordinate healthcare administrative policies, programs and operations in conjunction with all appointing and scheduling policies as directed.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- One-year supervisory probationary period required. A one-year probationary period is required if the selectee has not previously met this requirement.
About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes administrative, clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field including but not limited to: utilizing automated health care delivery systems; providing regulatory information on the credentialing/privileging process; and providing administrative support in areas such as budget, personnel, and procurement. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.About the company
