      Job Description
      Supervisory Field Consultants will be responsible for managing 15-20 geographically distributed Military Field Consultants across all U.S. States, Puerto Rico, and Guam. They will coordinate activities and events, assist in data collection and synthesis related to needs and gaps, and interface with regional and local leaders to advocate for support to military beneficiaries. They will serve as community educators and local resources to market marketing a wide variety of benefits and support services encompassed within the Military OneSource program. Field consultant services shall be delivered in local communities through collaborative partnerships with Federal, state, and local entities, enhancing community capacity to serve military families. These resources play a critical role in identifying available community resources, needs, and gaps related to services and supports for the military population throughout the U.S. and its territories.       Key Responsibilities

      • Supervisory Field Consultants will support hiring, onboarding, management, and problem resolution for Military Field Consultants with their designated coverage regaion.
      • Plan and execute regular meetings with supervisees to coordinate activities, identify lessons learned, and continuously improve service delivery.
      • They shall travel throughout their state and/or region, as directed and approved by DoD, to assess needs for support services and form relationships with community service providers.
      • Document and inform DoD on the identified needs of military families in designated region.
      • Support on-demand events, as directed and approved by the Government.
      • Distribute information and educational materials on Military OneSource and answer questions.
      • Manage exhibit booths at outreach events
      • Develop and maintain relationships with Military Service Organizations and their regional and local representatives.
      • Develop and maintain a catalogue of Government approved family programs and support resources within each state or region.
      • Provide briefings and share information that brings related groups together to facilitate networks of volunteers, when approved by the Government.
      • Provide support to unit/command and family support staff through briefings, information sharing, and training, when approved by the Government.
      • Provide recommendations to address service gaps applicable to a specific local area, military beneficiary population, or demographic group within the beneficiary population.
      • Facilitate referrals to services in collaboration with local service providers and program staff.
      • Submit orders for educational materials (e.g., DVDs, marketing materials, service guides, toolkits)


      Required Qualifications

      • Located within 15 miles of a major military installation (e.g., Texas, Virginia, Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, California), or willingness to relocate.
      • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
      • Minimum four years of military experience, or experience as a military spouse or caretaker.
      • Minimum eight years total work experience, including at least three years in a supervisory role with direct reports.
      • Must be a U.S. Citizen and speak fluent English (bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
      • Willingness to travel up to 80% within a designated region.
      • Ability to pass background check and obtain Public Trust clearance.

      Compensation

      $74,814.67 - $120,825.90

      The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may will be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience.
