      Job Summary:

      THIS JOB IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

      The International Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is the primary quality interface between Raytheon and the global supply base. The SQE provides both communication of requirements and performance feedback to the supplier as well as being a conduit for Quality information across other Raytheon teams. This role involves significant onsite support for the execution of Supplier Assessments, First Article Inspection verification, Source Inspection, problem resolution, and continuous improvement activities at supplier locations within Poland. You will be a key player in the management of Supplier performance and development and represent Raytheon’s Vision, Values, Strategy and Goals in the international supply base.

      This position will be located in Southern Poland working on up to a three-year MOU managing and developing Raytheon’s Polish subcontractor located in Stalowa Wola, Poland. Travel within Poland is required upwards of 50% or as required to support suppliers’ production schedules. This position will interface with suppliers in Poland.

      Responsibilities to Anticipate:

      • Interpret quality requirements and assist suppliers in the development of robust processes
      • Ensure flow down of requirements internally and to sub-tier suppliers
      • Assess/develop supplier’s quality capabilities throughout the product life cycle
      • Identify and correct systemic performance issues
      • Implement effective Root Cause Corrective Action
      • Conduct collaborative communication with supplier, cross business teams and customer
      • Deploy effective Supplier Quality Management techniques
      • Support supplier maintenance efforts such as recurring audits, special process upkeep, and certification maintenance.
      • Work as the liaison between the Program and Subcontractor
      • This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.

      • Experience with Supplier Quality Management working

      • Effective written/verbal Communications Skills

      • Experience with commercial and aerospace / defense regulations and/or standards of a commercial equivalent with any of the following: - AS9100, AS9102, ISO-9000, ISO-9001, AS9145

      • Knowledge of Military/Defense or Aerospace Industry specifications/standards

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6+ years’ experience
      • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Knowledge of General Statistical Process Control
      • Knowledge of industry technical standards (such as ANSI, CMMI, ASTM, etc.)
      • Certifications - Six Sigma , Lean, ASQ, ISO 9001 Auditor
      • Experience with major end items or mechanical assembly
      • GD&T Knowledge and understanding
      • Practical knowledge of Aerospace or commercial equivalent Preventative tools – APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, etc.
      • Practical knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action processes
      • Experience with hardware inspection techniques
      • Experience building and maintaining relationships with customers or partners (both internal and external to Raytheon)
      • Communication skills that exhibit presence and influence
      • Self-managed technical contributor
      • Experience working remotely

      The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
