Manage supplier and factory efforts related to sustainability, including environmental projects and material compliance.
Implement Hitachi Energy SCM standards, tools, and processes for sustainable supply.
Review sustainability metrics and ensure completion of related actions with the supply base.
Drive Sustainability Observation Tours and the Supplier Sustainability Development Program with cross-functional teams.
Promote Hitachi Energy’s clean energy practices within the supply base and North American factories.
Support efforts to quantify environmental and financial benefits related to sustainable packaging projects.
Drive EcoVadis, Qualification, and Registration targets through supplier correspondence and corrective action plans.
Assist in data collection and validation to support sustainability regulations in North America and globally.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field.
Minimum two years of working experience (full-time or internship/co-op), preferably in Supply Chain or Sustainability.
Participation in school or extracurricular activities with leadership roles.
Demonstrated project management skills for multi-discipline projects.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), with an emphasis on Excel.
Authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the US.
