Contribute towards achieving Site EHS targets (accidents, learning events, incidents, housekeeping) in line with the Site’s EHS values.
To support the site to maintain appropriate stock levels through regular analysis and routine reporting of slow-moving stock, obsolete stock, safety stock levels, stock usage and reorder quantities.
To support the site to maintain appropriate stock levels through provision to information to the Operations team to ensure materials are used up appropriately in production campaigns.
To support the site to maintain appropriate stock levels through analysis of usage of engineering stores stock to ensure MRP data is up to date.
To organise routine stock takes of the raw materials store, packaging store and the engineering store including investigation of discrepancies and reporting of stock accuracy.
To contribute to improvements in the layout and organisation of the raw materials store, packaging store and the engineering store.
To routinely review SAP master data of all materials on site to ensure issues and errors are identified and resolved quickly.
To collate the COMAH inventory on site daily to ensure we remain within our agreed limits, escalating issues as necessary.
To co-ordinate the provision of bulk raw materials and packaging to the site manufacturing group according to production plan requirements, providing a customer focused service.
Actively contribute to and apply appropriate improvement tools and techniques.
To carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
GCSE’s, Maths’s skills, and I.T skills required, particularly Microsoft Excel - Essential
Excellent analytical skills - Essential
Experience within a Warehouse management or manufacturing environment - Desirable
Experience of using an MRP (Materials Requirement Planning system) such as SAP - Desirable
Knowledge of EHS systems – Desirable
Knowledge of plant systems, production, and production rates - Desirable

As a member of the Supply Chain team, the job holder will be responsible for providing analysis and reporting to the site to enable all stock levels to be maintained at an appropriate level.
