Job Description
- Req#: 68576000029954340
- Review GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) supply contracts in the following product categories: medical, surgical, lab, and capital products.
- Analyze supply contracts and their related product categories to identify best available pricing and rebate optimization, to ensure leveraging best value from GPO program.
- Administer contract enrollments, tier activation requests, impact rebate program enrollments, and other programmatic duties.
- Oversee line-item product pricing and inventory data that is integrated into UCSDH’s ERP system on a daily basis; resolve discrepancies to minimize disruptions to Procurement, A/P, and Supply Chain operations.
- Communicate and Partner as needed to with internal UCSDH departments (Supply Chain & Clinical), Vizient GPO Account Managers, Med/Surg and Lab Distribution Partners, and external supplier community.
- BA/BS required (preference for Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems)
- Experience in healthcare supply chain, med-surg products, lab products, or other related industries.
- Detail oriented and attentive when reviewing large collections of inventory and pricing data.
- Highly analytical problem solver with solid business acumen, must be able to think critically when navigating various information systems.
- Ability to articulate complex issues and present potential solutions in a clear way.
- Proficiency in the following systems and technologies: Premier ERP / MMIS or similar platforms, EDI, healthcare GPOs, Microsoft Excel.
