Primary Responsibilities
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Analyst supports Inbound Transportation Leadership by optimizing inbound transportation, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include data analysis, process improvement, financial & logistics reporting, team support, lane blueprinting, and ensuring alignment with KeHE’s Mission, Vision, and Values
Essential Functions
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Inbound Transportation department by collaborating with internal teams to improve transportation efficiency and achieve cross-functional goals, while using the designated inbound systems tool to help maintain and update Blueprint workflows.
- Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable insights to enhance payload utilization, reduce costs, and improve on-time performance.
- Support the evaluation of revenue margin impacts from freight inefficiencies and help implement corrective actions under leadership guidance.
- Prepare reports to support the internal business unit and other departments across the organization.
- Maintain transportation databases, assist in preparing reports, and communicate findings to help strengthen partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide financial data and root cause analysis to support the Accounting team’s reporting needs.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance transportation processes and tools.
- Help achieve departmental goals by completing tasks accurately, efficiently, and in line with team priorities.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Strong knowledge of transportation and freight industry standards.
- Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint), databases (SQL), and tools like Arrowstream, Power BI, and Manhattan TMS.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and produce recommendations to management.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels, including leading calls with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and attention-to-detail skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
- Experience in food distribution, logistics, or transportation required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 20 pounds.
