- Supply Chain Analytics
- Manage weekly and monthly supply chain reporting, including supply chain monthly operations review
- Creates DC operations fiscal year and quarterly payroll planning and facilitates and drives labor forecasting with the DC operations teams to maximize workforce and minimize expense
- Responsible for development for excel based tools to assist in minimizing expense in the supply chain, including transportation, labor, inventory, capacity, and landed cost
- Support the supply chain departments on all ad hoc analysis needs
- Vendor Performance Program
- Administers all aspects of the Vendor & Product Compliance Program
- Partners with multiple internal departments to be sure the program is strategically aligned with company goals, well communicated, effectively administered.
- Leads and assists in developing tools/reporting to monitor and report vendor success and/or challenges
- Reviews and evaluates compliance requirements with other areas of the business (buying, distribution, logistics, accounting, legal) to improve processes and stay on top of evolving business needs and manages The Container Store’s Vendor Compliance Guide, ensuring alignment with company strategies
- Manages all aspects of vendor chargebacks, including systemic tracking through internal (Vendor Inbound Performance & Vendor Chargeback systems) tracking tools
- Ensures communication of all changes and updates to the Vendor Compliance Guide to our product vendor community
- Defines requirements, analyzes and monitors reporting tools to communicate, address and improve key quality requirements like on-time shipping, correct product and quantities, defect/damage free, etc.
- Oversees the Vendor Compliance online portal (Vendor Link) and provides training and clarification as needed
- Administers and drives improvement of The Container Store Vendor Scorecard (Key Performance Indicator tool)
- Develops and oversees on-boarding for vendors, ensuring full understanding of compliance requirements.
- Manages vendor questions on all compliance-related issues, including violations and chargebacks
- Administers requirements to vendors based on needs from Legal and/or other internal departments on regulatory issues such as Proposition 65, Lacey Act, The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), etc.

- Performs annual reviews and regularly scheduled one on ones
- Manages employee time and attendance
- Consistently arrives promptly to work the assigned schedule
- Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information

- College degree preferred
- 5+ years’ minimum experience in Retail Supply Chain, Vendor Compliance/Relations with a background in Analytics
- Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area
- Strong dispute resolution skills with passion for getting into the details
- Expert user of Microsoft Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, macros, etc…) and BI tools
- Analytical by nature; takes problems apart, observing and utilizing data to get to the bottom of an issue
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
- Is committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs
- Knowledge of industry business and passion for following trends in the industry
- Ability to quickly separate the mission-critical tasks from the lower priority tasks; focuses on the most value-added projects of the day or week
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once
- Possesses focused attention to detail, excellent follow up skills, able to prioritize to produce quality results

Overview
The Supply Chain and Vendor Performance Sr. Manager position is responsible for improving supply chain performance and driving cost out of TCS supply chain. The position will lead the Supply Chain Analytics and Vendor Performance team and utilize business intelligence tools to plan, forecast and report supply chain spend, volume, and metrics. The position will, in collaboration with multiple areas of the company, incorporate all factors in analytics to solve complex opportunities in our business and product flow.
This position is responsible for managing the Vendor Compliance Program, oversees the development of analysis and tools to speed the supply chain, and minimize challenges with quality, fulfillment, accuracy, and delivery of product. Responsible for all supply chain performance reporting for DC Operations, Transportation, and Vendor Performance teams. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.
