      Job Purpose

      This position will support our Supply Chain & Logistics team as a Summer Intern from May 2024 – August 2024, and will be based in Nashville, TN. This is a paid, full-time Internship and will support a continuous improvement project at the end of the session.

      In this position you will have the opportunity to:

      • Be involved in sales order management and customer calls
      • Support customer facing account management and forecasting
      • Support production planning and raw material management
      • Oversee vendor managed inventory program
      • Drive supply chain optimization tools and processes
      • Complete daily Rail Operations Management
      • Monitor carrier performance and tracking

      Professional Development Opportunities:

      • Collaboratively work with key stakeholders on 2 real-world problems facing LP
      • Presentations to key LP leaders and management
      • Peer mentor assignments and team events
      • 1x1 Meetings with Executives, VP’s, Directors, Managers

      What do I need to be successful?

      • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
      • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
      • Strong organizational skills
      • Interpersonal and communication skills
      • Time management skills

      Education

      • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Supply Chain, Business or Data Analytics

      Work Environment

      • This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule.
