  Job Description:

  An opportunity for a Supply Chain & Quality Manager (SCQM) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space Getafe (Madrid).

  The selected candidate will join the Supply Chain & Quality Services (aftermarket) & MRO team within the Procurement area.

  This role is accountable within the assigned scope to ensure on Quality, on Time deliveries (spares and repairs for A/C in Service) by managing milestones and deliverables coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

  The scope is multiprogram (A400M, C295, CN235, MRTT, EF, Tornado) and the SCQM is the key supplier interface to ensure all supply risks are anticipated and mitigated and a preventative surveillance and audit plan is implemented.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The jobholder is the key operational supplier interface and inspire trust & teamwork between Airbus & suppliers.

  • Ensure on Quality, on Time deliveries to protect business operations , by managing milestones and deliverables coordinating with internal and external stakeholders : program, engineering, commodity,...

  • Identify and Mitigate risks & opportunities, Communicate status & plans and Escalate where relevant.

  • Monitor and control supplier performance and define and lead/monitor recovery and improvement actions when needed, on live programs and in preparation of the future.

  • Manage corrective action plans to avoid re-occurrences and therefore reduce the number of non-quality deviations.

  • Ensure the inspection and surveillance plan (audits) for all the Repair Centers.

  • Live the AIRBUS values and be a role model for Ethics and Compliance in day to day relationship with supplier.

  • Education: Engineering degree or a related discipline.

  • Experience: Previous experience in supply chain environment such an internship.

  • Languages: Advanced level in English.

  • Nice to have / Valuable: Experience in aviation aftermarket or services a plus
