      BAT UK IS LOOKING FOR AN AREA SUPPLY CHAIN INTERN

      SENIORITY LEVEL: Internship

      FUNCTION: WE Supply Chain

      SALARY RANGE: excellent benefits + market leading bonus

      LOCATION: Chiswick, London, UK

      ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

      This role is part of Supply Chain - Internal Secondary Supply Chain.

      What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

      1. Support operational conduct of the business: Executing standard reporting activities

      2. Implementation and improvement of Supply Chain improvement tools, especially in digitalization & automation

      Reports to: Area Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Manager

      Reporting Level: Internal Marketing, SP&I, EM Supply Chain, Area and regional teams.

      External – Project Suppliers

      Geographic Scope: Western Europe Business Unit

      WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

      • Support of preparation of the weekly/monthly reports in line with sales and operational planning cycle
      • Regularly analyzes forecasts and report improvement points to demand planning and SC teams
      • Support implementation of continuous process improvements which align with strategic company objectives.
      • Support Digitalization Journey for WE Supply chain via
        • Developing regular reports and analysis on user adoption and tool stability
        • Maintaining and reviewing the defect handling log for the new tools
      • Drives delivery of WE Productivity agenda via supporting WE Productivity forum
      • Drives preparation of WE Demand Management System Meetings drumbeat

      CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

      • Do you have recent experience in Supply Chain?
      • Have you led a meeting with several stakeholder?
      • Have you managed any project independently?

      ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

      Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

      • Strong numerical and analytical abilities
      • Strong interpersonal, communication skills in English
      • Microsoft office knowledge
      • A focus on continuous improvement across Productivity/Cost/Service metrics.

      Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

      • Business/Engineering background

      BENEFICIAL

      • Digital capabilities or experience within Business Intelligence and Analytics and/or Power BI are considered an advantage.
      • Background/past experience in supply chain related fields and similar is considered an advantage.
