Coordinate shipping schedules and track product shipments globally, from manufacturing sites to treatment centers and regional depot networks
Proactively identify and resolve potential shipment delays and deviations, escalating as necessary
Make thoughtful decisions regarding re-routing patient samples and product shipments to address logistical challenges
Manage day-to-day decisions in collaboration with third-party logistic providers and logistic couriers
Assess and recommend new technologies related to GPS, temperature monitoring, and small parcel shipment designs
Communicate product delivery changes to internal teams and external partners, ensuring effective coordination
Provide updates and reports on shipment status, issues, and changes to cross-functional teams
You possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience in logistics and/or supply chain management methods and processes
You possess an in depth knowledge with the importation/exportation of human biological samples and investigational drugs in a GMP regulated environment
You possess experience in management of cold chain and ultra-cold chain logistics
You possess demonstrated experience in vendor management in logistics and distribution
You possess strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with various functional groups
You possess demonstrated experience in working in a matrixed organization, navigating complex decision-making processes
You are detail-oriented and proactive, with a proven track record of identifying and addressing potential challenges before they impact operations
You are technically savvy and adept with various systems and applications (i.e. third party logistic software systems, ERP systems such as SAP, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.)
You have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction, and have the ability to manage and effectively prioritize your workload
Experience in the cell and gene therapy industry
This role is an integral part of our Supply Chain Logistics and Distribution team, which plays a vital role in the process development, manufacture, and supply of cell and gene therapies worldwide. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders, including Clinical Operations, Patient Operations, CROs, CMOs, Logistics Service Providers, and distribution partners. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of samples and drug products, managing vendor relationships, optimizing supply chain processes, and implementing new technologies to enhance logistics operations. Your contributions will directly impact the successful delivery of life-saving therapies to patients around the globe.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $110,600 - 205,400.
Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
