Assist with supplier selection process, qualification of alternative sources, supply base rationalization programs and other relevant strategies to optimize the supply base.
Deliver incremental savings and participate in process improvements that enable CoorsTek's growth objectives.
Manage freight forwarders to optimize the movement of goods throughout the CoorsTek supply chain.
Work with stakeholders across multiple plants to deliver against strategic goals and plans for optimizing the shipping and logistics programs.
Monitor the market for category leading practices, pricing trends, risks, and demand/supply shifts such as supply consolidations and innovations.
Implement strategies to optimize spend and consumption while maintaining the best value for CoorsTek.
Active Supplier Relationship Management: Development and measurement of KPI’s, supplier audits, business reviews, improvement plans, and identification of new opportunities.
Sources, negotiates, and purchases materials, equipment, supplies, and services of a specialized or complex nature in accordance with prescribed purchasing regulations and procedures.
Manages open orders to ensure on-time delivery and the resolution of discrepancies between the invoice, purchase order, and receiving documents.
Bachelor's degree; preferred majors include Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, and/or General Business Management.
Supply chain or other internship experience (preferred)
Prior experience participating in a team environment.

Annual Salary: USD 60,600.00 - USD 70,600.00Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
