- Manage the daily analysis of finished goods inventory based off forecasted and historical sales for Schuman manufacturing and co-manufacturer sites
- Develop a supply plan to deliver and achieve targets for both inventory levels and Fill Rate / OTIF KPI
- Minimize excess and obsolete inventory – lead team and cross-functional inquiries, working directly with SC and Warehouse/3PL leadership to move inventory
- Develop and maintain close working relationships within the organization and to our various 3rd parties, including direct peers on plant floor.
- Investigate any inventory or data issues by performing a root cause analysis and implementing solutions to improve the department’s performance and solve chronic performance issues
- Analyze inventory levels and identify any areas of risk; communicate risks in a timely manner to appropriate members of the SC team and organization
- Ability to perform data analysis and create an executive summaries as needed
- Analyze and interpret multiple sources of data and create ad hoc reporting when needed
- Participate in new product development meetings and provide guidance on arrival of key materials
- Support inventory strategies for Holiday and Promotional campaigns
- Monitor consumption and adjust inventory levels based on recent trends
- Support activities of Supply review in S&OP process
- Ability to prioritize and be agile/shift priorities as organizational demands change

- Ability to multi-task across different projects/tasks
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills and ability to provide solutions rather than just problems

- Understanding of Excel (pivot tables, index matches, V/H-lookup, IF statements is a must)

- Experience with John Galt, SAP APO or other MRP planning tools preferred

Primary Purpose:
The Supply Chain Planner will ensure the optimal flow of finished goods for our company’s operations, we produce the right amount of product, at the right cost, the right time, and in the right location. You will own inventory planning duties including, but not limited to, analyzing inventory levels, managing short, medium and long range planning, optimizing production scheduling and deployment, and integrating new product development. To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly analytical, and possess excellent communication skills.

Work Environment:
Typical office working environment which includes a workstation equipped with a computer and other office supplies necessary for daily tasks. Typically climate-controlled to provide a comfortable working temperature year-round. Lighting is usually a mix of natural and artificial sources to ensure sufficient lamination.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salaried position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Expectations of 45 hours per week, to be worked during normal business hours.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000, with a 10% annual bonus potential.
